Ramsey Brown
VP of Diversified Agriculture
Education: Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, California Maritime Academy, CSU
Background: Ramsey is one of Pono Pacificʻs newest team members who will be overseeing diversified ag at Kuilima Farms. He has experience in managing large projects, operational delivery, and team development with a $14 million operating budget and several staff who reported to him. In addition to an experienced sustainability and team management background, he has strong capacities in working with government agencies, public utility commission (PUC), corporate partners, and community groups. Ramsey was honored with the 40 Under 40 award by Pacific Business News in 2019. Born and raised in Hawai‘i, Ramsey is a Kamehameha Schools graduate, volunteer leadership coach for high school students, and a hula practitioner who has danced and won at Hawai‘i’s most prestigious competition, the Merrie Monarch. Ramsey currently resides in Mānoa.
